The Artitects have developed a unique methodology inspired by the IKEA model—when individuals actively participate in the creation process, they develop a deeper emotional connection to the final result. This concept is at the core of our approach, ensuring that students do not just witness art being placed in their environment but are active contributors to its design and execution.
Students engage in discussions about their environment, exploring themes that are meaningful to them.
Facilitated by professional artists, students sketch and develop mural concepts that reflect their identity and aspirations.
Under guidance, students participate in the painting process, creating large-scale artworks in their own school environment.
After completion, students reflect on the impact of their work, reinforcing a sense of pride and long-term connection to their space. The collaborative process often leads to new friendships, as students who may not have interacted before bond over the shared experience of creating something meaningful together.
